At Pennsylvania Farm Table Company, we create high-quality one-of-a-kind pieces that can be enjoyed for generations. Every table is designed and handcrafted in the Pennsylvania farm tradition and captures the rich history and beauty of the Brandywine Valley. Our craftsmen take pride in their workmanship and have over 50 years of experience in carpentry, woodworking and building custom farm tables and benches.
Premium Hardwoods
The first step of the process is to work closely with our customers in selecting the wood, style and size for their one-of-a-kind farmhouse table. We use repurposed boards or sustainably sourced hardwoods such as maple, ash, cherry and chestnut. Our boards are kiln dried to remove moisture which minimizes the risk of warping over time.
We specialize in hand-turned legs, and they are one of the distinctive features of our farmhouse tables. Legs are masterfully crafted using an authentic, vintage lathe from 1840 and they accurately reflect the history of farm tables in the U.S.
We handcraft our tables using traditional joinery and construction. During the final steps of creating your table, we will send you photos of your actual table being built and finished.
All of our farmhouse tables come signed with a certificate of authenticity from Pennsylvania Farm Table Company. The end result is a unique creation that is destined to become a treasured family heirloom.
